So far, it doesn't lay flat which is disappointing because a previous reviewer has said it unrolled and flattened easily. I'm going to try the whole hot towel thing the site suggest but it's a pain to do. Also has some indents that we shall see if it comes out when fully flattened. I'm returning it if it doesn't fully flatten. Will update if somehow things improve.
Beware that these PVC Protectors will acually damage yourfurnitures finish

Instead of protecting the finish on my new office furniture, these mats actually removed the sheen from the fine finish at "pressure points" where items lay on top of the protector.

I don't know what happened, but this seems to have ruined my table top. The entire wooden dining table top has become sticky and splotchy and unusable after I had this cover on top for a few months. Now I need to find someone to repair my dining table.
