I very rarely give reviews but I had to get on and say something about this product. First, the product is of good quality. I haven't had a chance to use the steamer yet but I am sure I will be just as happy with it. I bought this because I needed a steamer for my Instant Pot pressure cooker. I wanted something that would allow me to steam veggies, fish, chicken, etc. while keeping the food out of the liquid below. This fit perfectly in the pot and the rubber feet so you wouldn't scratch the inner pot! I managed to fit 2 heads of broccoli (cut into florets) and 3 salmon filets into this and they were cooked perfectly! Cleaning was simple and it folds in on itself for storage. Overall, I'm very happy with the vegetable steamer basket purchase and looking forward to using it often.instant pot accessories steamer food steamer insert

The steamer is very nice quality from what I can tell. It has maintained it shine through a few washings. I did have to go look it up online to find out how to open it up since I have never used one before. It makes me want to steam veggies, but I only eat carrots out of the ones I would serve. I have used it however for fish and other items. Just have to be careful with cleaning. Things can get caught in the holds and ridges. It worked but was hard to clean after I tried it for rice in my instant pot. I bought it for use in a 6 qt instant pot and it fits perfectly.instant pot accessories steamer food steamer insert

I have a couple vegetable steamers already but neither of them have a piece in the middle to help lift it out when you want to remove the tray after cooking, that's why I purchased this one. The extendable piece in the middle makes it easy to lift the basket out after steaming your veggies so you can drain the water away and add the veggies back to your pot. I am very happy with this instant pot accessories steamer food steamer insert

This is a great steamer basket. It comes with a extending stainless handle and a rubber feet that allows for easy access to the basket when you need to remove it from the pot.
