Well there isn't a lavender smell per se, but everything else is as advertised. I let it sit for two whole days before putting it on my bed, and it really feels like sleeping on a cloud.

Bought the 3 inch foam because they said the w inches was only an inch high. The 3 inch is barely 2 inches high. Not happy about paying for 3 inches and getting like 1 1/2 inches. Will say there was no smell to the foam. If I look to buy again probably better off getting 2 one inch ones and layering them

You can definitely feel the egg crate bumps even with the mattress pad over it. Only ordered the 1.5 inch since the bed we were using already had an old 1 inch generic foam topper on it. This one was placed on top of that and the combination is perfect--not too hard and not too soft. I prefer the bumps which seem to give it more air circulation.
Absolutely NO lavender scent but I'm okay with that since it doesn't really smell much. Expanded pretty much immediately once opened and laid out. Best to leave open to air out for a full day if sensitive to smells. I was fine with it after a few hours.
