He has been emailing photos of it to everyone in the family. My sister congratulated me on "getting Dad THE BEST gift!" I was interested in the bird feeder side of this Ferris wheel but even more intrigued by the double separate props. Each fan blade being mounted independently it was simple to remove the feeding baskets and to slightly twist each blade so that each fan turns in opposite rotation. It turned into a magnificent spinning array of colours which will last through the season's spinning with the slightest grease . l know, not a feeder any longer BUT l really gained a lot of unexpected pleasure in the switch.

I like that it's a tractive and the birds are fun and comical to watch. However, the little nuts and bolts fall off the feeder baskets. I've had to replace them and now each time I feed/fill the baskets I make sure the nuts are tight. Perhaps you could find a better way to keep the nuts and bolts fastened to the feeder baskets. I've suggested putting fingernail polish on the nuts to friends while they are assembling the baskets.
