This is high quality extra virgin avocado oil pressed from the fresh "flesh" of the fruit. With that in mind, it has a really STRONG flavor that does not mix well with many dishes. I can only use a little bit in a salad or it overpowers the entire flavor. Cooking onions with it is a good combo, as well as mushrooms. But you need to experiment because it's just such a unique and strong flavor.
I have had better tasting extra virgin avocado oils in the past, if my memory serves me correctly. However I appreciate that it's from small farms in Kenya and therefore is very fresh and organic, even without the "organic" label.
