When I over do from lifting and pulling, this ortho item helps me align my spine without drugs or chiropractors. It takes a few days of wearing but within a week I feel much better.

It was hard to figure out how to use it properly. There were no instructions. After being unable to figure it out on my own, I finally went to the Amazon page and deduced the proper way of attaching all the straps from the photos. But even when properly installed, it wasn't much help. I bought it for problems in my Thoracic spine, but it provides most support in the Lumbar area. Its better than nothing, but not as good as I had hoped.

I tried a few other less expensive back supports and they did not provide the support to straighten out my back as I was looking for. It took me months of looking at this one due to the price, I just did not want to pay this much money but I'm happy with my purchase. I work at a desk all day + my posture is absolutely terrible which also causes my mid to low back to hurt while working and I tend to slouch over as a result. I also was concerned that all that material around my waste would be uncomfortable because I am a size 16 and do not have a small waist line. As soon as I put this back brace on, I felt an immediate difference in my posture and the straps around my waist weren't nearly as uncomfortable as I imagined even with long term wear. My only real complaint is if worn properly for me, it does tend to hurt around the shoulder strap area. My only recommendation for this product would be thicker shoulder pads.
