This knife is very sturdy. Good blade length (not too big not to small) for survival & camp work. My black Micarta handle is strong & sturdy but it is a little too smooth lending itself towards being slightly slippery when wet. I'd recommend some light sandpaper to fix that. The knife's balance is a little handle heavy but not a deal breaker with this very strong knife. The sheath could use a little work. There is an excellent little sharpening stone and a good ferro rod both attach to the sheath which is of good quality leather. My only issue is with the strap that secures the knife in place. It's design is as such that it lends itself to being cut by the blade when drawing the knife or placing it back into the sheath. I'd call this a design flaw that should be addressed by JEO-TEC. All in all I'd have to say that this is a pretty sturdy and good knife. I just wish the sheath was better designed.
