I received my order of this artificial grass today; I ordered it specifically because the description said that it was pet friendly and heat resistant. Living in north Florida, it was important that the grass not get too hot for my dogs to walk on, so you can imagine my disappointment when they wouldn't go on it. At first, I thought it was because it was something new and they didn't like it, but eventually I took my shoes off to see how it felt and it was so hot, I had to immediately step off it. The temperature today is only around 80 degrees (and sunny) so I can't imagine what it will be like mid summer. I would not recommend this grass to anyone with pets.
Update: I've had this grass for five days and although I've had to put area rugs over it when it's sunny, I am still glad I purchased it. Overall, it looks really good and held up well during a day of rain. It keeps my dogs a lot cleaner, since they no longer get dirty laying on the ground. I added one star to my rating and may even purchase more!
