I bought these in order to create more space on a bookshelf to store books. I had seen someone do this with egg cartons, but I thought stacking the styrofoam would be better (and cleaner). This pack was sufficient for one shelf and I only had to cut the ends off of two of them to fit the full length of the shelf. Now I can see the title of the books that are raised higher in the back. Turned out great!

It's great to have styrofoam in this size but in all honesty it's just styrofoam. You can grab this from used boxes. But if you need it in a pinch this is good.
