This is the most extensive arduino starter kit I've ever bought, and the case looks like it was designed for the parts rather than some generic box they could barely cram everything in to! The lessons to learn to code are nice, too.

What will be the one of the most important technical abilities one person should have 10-20 later? I believe coding will be one of them. 20 years ago when I saw a color screen cell phone at first time, I doped out that one day there would be smart phones as big as this cell phone, and would be as fast as PC, if I could started to learn coding, I would have a good feature,then I tried, but as a kid grew up with no internet documentation in 3rd world country, it was soo hard to learn something that was so far beyond its environment. Now, I still believe coding can change my life style, and I will teach my kids coding,that is why I bought this Arduino Starter Kit. Pretty much every basic component is included.ultrasonic sensor,remote controler,motors,displays,sound sensor etc. And They come with a Lesson CD that explains everything from A to Z. Now as a father, I will show my kids the fun of coding something they want.

Early in the summer (2018) we bought a robot car kit from LAFVIN, deciding to have some fun learning Arduino together with my son (7th grader). Within two months of time, both of us came out from absolutely no knowledge of Arduino to having a fully functioning robot car under an Amazon fire tablet control. Over the course we had countless questions and had to re-engage LAFVIN support many many times. As a manufacturer, their sale support is a little thin in technical side. However they are able to point us to the right directions. Finally we completed all lessons from their tutorial and came out with smile from the entire family members. The smile was not only from me and my son. The entire family was happy seeing the car running around.

Along the way we learnt some basic electrical engineering lesson, such as double checking the wring before applying power. In early lessons we did not do this and found that the ultrasonic sensor was not working. This is why we decide to get a 2nd kit from LAFVIN, with belief that they will be able to lend their hand again when we have question.

Based upon our experience with LAFVIN, we would definitely buy from them again when there is a need.

Great starter kit for students and hobbyist. I bought this for my son in the hopes that he would like programming and hardware. Great price for all the pieces you get and tutorials and other code samples are available. Love that it comes with items you can code to like remote, buttons, LED screen, LEDs, etc.
