I suppose he plans on getting lost somewhere, but at least I know he'll be fine. 😊 He did have some of the things that this came with, but it never hurts to have more than one of something in a survival kit, as long as it's not weighing you down. I bought one just thinking, "how useful can this really be?" Turns out it's got a lot of quality things in here. I will warn you though. The bracelet that has the flint rod and compass, although seems great, that metal rod effects the magnetic pull of the compass. So, I'd advise having a backup compass for your survival gear. The knife surprised the hell out of me. It's really sharp and a brand that known for making quality knives. Completely recommend you get this. It can never hurt to have one in a go bag, car kit, travel bag, back pack (it doesn't take up much room at all) or anywhere really.
