This is a really awesome product. I never have seen such a product with so many cool features. First of all, it is very easy to install and takes no longer than 10 minutes to set up. The big LCD is one of big advantage. The most and cool amazing feature is It has great features including cold & Heat Resistant,1080 video recording, super night vision with amazing sony censor, with auto detect of G sensor when a sudden shake and collision occurs ans support large storage capacity.

The most and cool features which are equipped with 24H Wave Guard Parking Monitoring which can start recording when it detects movement. You can operatet the dash cam both using car charger as well with the OBD power which has low voltage protection. I am really happy with the product and I recommend to everyone to have such a wonderful product.

I ordered the Vantrue T2 about a week ago to replace my worn out dash cam.

First impressions is that the T2 seems well made, I really like the texture of the housing...kinda soft and rubbery feeling. This dash camera is packed full of features with room to grow some more. One of the features that attracted me was the ability to use larger than 32 GB memory cards. This is a huge plus in my book. Now on page - 5 - of the Full Manual, it states 16-64 GB cards but the Amazon ads mentions 256 GB cards. I didn't have any 256 GB memory cards for testing but I do have 128 GB cards. So I tested this with 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB's cards and they all performed flawlessly!! You can color me happy just on that alone!

As mentioned above, this camera is full of features including being a Capacitor camera vs built in rechargeable battery. I could have used this camera back when I lived in West Texas! Capacitors are not as acceptable to heat or cold as say a rechargeable battery. But we do live in a cold environment today where low temperatures can still effect rechargeable batteries. So the Capacitor will come in real handy!

Another features that is very key for me is the 1080P HD Sony sensor and the 2" LCD screen. Higher resolutions gives you better ability to make stuff out in videos, especially which motion. The larger 2" screen just makes viewing things that much easier.

Other cool feature is the 24 Hour Wave Guard Parking Monitoring! This is where the OBD plug comes into play. Its simple to plug in and supplies your camera with continuous power as well as comes with a motion sensor. This gives you a 160° motion video surveillance in front of your vehicle. The cord is flat and easy to push inside A pillars and weather stripping. Now one word of caution, if you plan on parking your vehicle for extended periods, week or two, you may want to unplug the OBD plug as not to drain the battery. It's perfectly fine on daily driven vehicles.

Optional GPS:

The T2 also has the ability to track GPS and Speed...you can see these mentioned on the bottom of my supplied sample photos pulled from actual T2 video. "You must buy a separate GPS mount from Vantrue." Since I didn't opt to buy the GPS mount, those fields read zero on my video. Anyhow, this would be nice for monitoring kids driving etc.

- G-Sensor for accidental bumps/damage while away from vehicle
- Time Lapse (I haven't had time to test this but I'm excited about it)

Over all I'm impressed with the Vantrue T2 and glad I ordered it.

It was time for a dash cam upgrade and the Vantrue T2 was a big improvement. My recent mini 0805P was due for retirement, this new one is hands down the best one I have used. The resolution is very sharp, colorful and vibrant which helps at night. The Sony lens has a good wide angle coverage providing a good range showing about 50 feet of extra detail (see my first picture where the SUV is visible). It has a stylish design with glossy black which blends well behind my rear view mirror, so it's not easy to spot. It took me about 15 minutes to install tucking the cable behind the panels so they were not visible. The kit also includes a 2nd OBD cable for low voltage for the always-on motion option. I have included pictures with my new Vantrue T2 on the left of the photo and my old mini 0805P on the right. I would recommend this dash cam to family and friends.

Who would have guessed a dash camera would have so many uses! This is my first dash camera, I would have never images how useful this device would be. Well the obvious is definitely true, it keeps an eye on the road so if you have any auto related issues you have a document for whatever you may need it for. Like accidents, or miss understandings with police officers. And this product in particular does an amazing job at capturing high quality video and sound. But their are so many other applications for this great little dash camera.

First off I must give credit to the Vantrue T2 24/7 surveillance Super Capacitor Dash Cam. This compact yet amazingly put together little device is packed with features. It is super easy to use and install in your vehicle. The build quality is excellent in every way, it is solid and designed to utilize every cm of its build. I really like that it records sound, date/ time stamp and speed of my vehicle. It also has more stamps I just don't use.

So here are a few uses I didn't realize I would get from this dash cam. First, it is amazing for recalling conversations. Have you ever been in the car with your family and enjoying your ride listening to the radio or talking with someone like your spouse. Then all the sudden your children are in a huge argument. Well sometimes I miss those first few words that had started the whole thing. Not anymore I can just replay the whole thing. So now my children are really thinking about how things progressed to the point of fighting. Then their is the parking cam, I never knew so many people scoped out my vehicle or family while I made a quick run in the store. It is kind of scary. But I am glad to have the reassurance that I can identify them and be more aware of my surroundings for my family's sake.

I've only used this for a week so far but I am looking forward to finding many more uses. If you are interested in a dash cam I would highly recommend this product.

My only suggestion to the manufacturer of this item would be to have the option to fully rotate the camera to record in my car. Or have another option that would record both forward and rear at the same time. It definitely doesn't take away from this product but I can always dream. Well have a nice day!

After being research for few months, I decided settle down this model with several criteria that I like. It can take the heat in Texas, parking mode, motion sensor 24/7 mode detection, included OBD cable which it allows connecting directly to car battery without buying additional wired kits, high resolution and crystal clear video with HDR technology. Daytime is almost perfect except when dash cam faces directly to the sun in the early morning or late afternoon. Night time might not able capture license plate clearly when there is an opposite car approach due to headlight on. I have been used for few weeks and happy so far with this product.
