It took a little effort to get the item connected to the portable ac. Also, it was a bit difficult to get the ac hose to connect to the coupler. But, once I was able to get it all connected, its been working out great.

When moving I lost the hoses and ports for my portable Whynter ARC-131GD unit. This coupling perfectly fits the unit's exhaust including the two "locking" areas. The hose threading wasn't the same direction of the generic hose I purchased, but I was able to force it in easy enough.

It fits perfectly on the portable Comfort Aire AC /dehumidifier unit to vent out the hot air. No trouble with install or during use of the ac. If you move the ac 7nit, even a few inches it does tend to let go on one side. It's best if you check and reinsert if needed every so often.
