I purchased this for my husband but ended up using it more. My hubs hurt his back a few months ago and I thought this might ease his pain. It does reduce his back pain. While I was stepping up and working on the yard I've used this on sore muscles and even put it on under my clothes and work on sore muscles and pinched nerves while I'm out working. The device is small enough to carry on your pocket or in your waistband. I usually start at 20 minutes and if the area still hurts I go another 20 minutes. I think the electronic signals confuse the pain sensation. I wish I had one of these long ago.

After the reviews, I saw mostly positive, so I pulled the trigger and bought one. This little thing works and the battery lasts!! Been using 4 nights in a row at medium setting, 30 minutes each time and battery is still full.
If I had to give and buyers or potential buyers any info, but extra pads. I found a bag of dozens for very reasonable price, the pads you get with unit last and can be used many times, just stick it to clear piece ot comes on when done. I've used same ones half a dozen times and still usable but I want to have extra, nice to have. Second piece of info... directions are not clear on what settings do, try them out because they all do different patterns, pulses, etc. Also, make sure you starts low. Don't want to over do it. Finally, it comes with 2 or 3 wires which each has 2 connections, make sure the 2 connections are connected on each wire. If not, you won't feel anything, it needs to complete the loop. Other than that, this thing is great and the price is awesome.

I love the simplicity of this unit, and it's economical. It works really well to control my sciarica. This is my second time purchasing it because I gave my previous one to a friend that really needed it. These units used to cost $1,000. back in the 70's when they were used immediately after back surgery.
