Well made canvas tote
Dave✓ Verified Purchase•January 16, 2024
This tote appears to be durable and well made. I've been using this for several months. I had a similar canvas tote for 5-6 years that tore a leather anchor for the shoulder strap. The canvas anchor on this tote will probably be stronger. I like the zipper top as apposed to the flap over. Perfect size for a 14" laptop and several books and pads. Lots of convenient compartments.
My favorite bag I've ever had!

From the moment I took this bag out of the shipping box, I was excited. There aren't many products that I can say I picked up and immediately felt had excellent craftsmanship, but this was one. It's stylish, durable, and can hold a truly surprising amount. The ability to switch between backpack and messenger bag has been helpful many times, and the transition is easy enough to do in under 30 sec. I love how well-padded the laptop portion is; it has a blue ridged foam panel on one side and sufficient padding on the other side and bottom for the laptop to be protected. I just recently returned a backpack and ordered a padded laptop sleeve for another bag because I couldn't find one that felt secure enough, but this bag I feel very confident in. There are 9 (yes, NINE) pockets accessible from the outside, and some smaller pockets inside the main laptop compartment as well that easily hold pens/cords/accessories as well. On any given day I'm able to fit a gaming laptop, a ~1 in. thick cooling fan stand, a large power cord (if you have a gaming laptop, you know how big those power bricks can get), a mouse, an external hard drive, several charging cords and portable power banks, a wallet, misc. items like hand sanitizer/hand cream etc., a pair of folded over-ear headphones, a small notebook, and a novel in this bag and it doesn't even feel strained. Full, but not strained. The weight distribution in the straps is excellent; an amount of items that would feel heavy in another backpack feels secure and even lighter in this one. The material seems somewhat water-resistant - I haven't tested it and don't really want to risk trying, but if I got caught in a drizzle I wouldn't panic. Overall, I would recommend this bag a thousand times over, and I'm hoping to keep it for a long time!
I. Love. This. Bag.

I have a gaming laptop that wasn't initially meant to be a work laptop but is now a work laptop. A Republic of Gamers ASUS G75V, which has a 17" screen. And it's thicc, unlike all y'alls Macbooks (1" spine). And needless to say, most laptop bags don't handle laptops that big. Being a photographer doesn't make things any easier, either. There weren't any worthy camera bags that I could find that could hold my lenses AND my behemoth laptop. So, I have a bag for each.
Regardless, Coolbell came through. Despite my laptop being big and thicc, she barely fits comfortably. As in-- it fits, and I can tell it's a close call, but it still closes with ease and I never struggle with making it fit. Though, if my laptop were any bigger, I imagine it'd be a pain to zip up.
Before this, I had a laptop shoulder bag that served me well for several years, but the strap broke. Twice. Since it, fortunately, didn't break my laptop, I had to get another one. And going with a new brand is always a tough choice. But the look and design, plus all the positive reviews, convinced me to give it a shot.
When I was first browsing, I remember being really worried about the backpack straps. I'd never heard of this brand before, and I was afraid that it was meant to be a shoulder bag, and that the Backpack idea might've been an afterthought. But if it was, they certainly didn't treat it that way. The backpack straps are super comfortable and sturdy. And as a photographer, I'm constantly putting down and picking the thing up. Since I'm doing Real Estate Photography, I'm constantly hiding it in cupboards and closets while I shoot the home. And no matter what direction/side I put it down, there's a comfortable handle ready to be grabbed in any direction.
My previous bag had a flap and buckles, which I was hesitant to lose in this design because of the extra storage, but how professional this looked helped convince me. It's so sleek, with great color options. And in the end, the storage worked out super well for me. I was able to fit my giant laptop, 2 mousepads, mouse, portable Logitech keyboard (with case-- not a full-sized keyboard), and power supply comfortably with plenty of space to spare. Granted, I'm not carrying all that much, but it works great for me.
This product feels great. I'm a big fan. I'm hoping the durability is as good as it feels. I've only had it for a short while, but it doesn't feel cheaply made. Honestly, as long as it lasts me another year or two, if it happens to break, I'll buy it again. The design is just that good. I love this bag.

Best bag I’ve had in a while (or ever!)

08/11/21 (First Weekly Review):
This bag surpassed my expectations by a long shot! The feeling of the bag and the slick look of it makes me really really happy. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning opening this package! So far so good, the bag has a decent amount of storage. However, if you are looking/wanting to put more than 1-2 binders in it I recommend 1-2 maybe 3 inch ringed binder (anything bigger will just make the bag lose capacity in its many storage compartments. Other than that it for my Yoga Lenovo laptop in it not problems (much more room that I expected!) So far the backpack sleeves feel great and are durable same with the handles for briefcase use (haven't yet test the shoulder strap yet.) All around first impression is .... THIS BAG IS A MUST GET!!!
08/18/21 (Second Weekly Review):
The bag has held up so far and it's been nothing but great and actually holds a lot of storage for my thick binders and thick folders and notebooks. I can hold a notebook in the front pocket that is 7" x 11" give or take. The bag also is great at being a shoulder carrying case or a briefcase, all three options of using the bag are great. It makes it easy to pull around your things!
Still a STRONG BUY!!!
8/25/21 (Third Weekly Review):
The bag is doing very well and is actually proving it's worth a lot more than I thought it would. The only problem I can tell is with the zipper leather puller part on the outside main pocket (not the one directly behind if wearing as a backpack) broke due to two factors. One factor being myself pulling hard due to my thickness of my folders and paper on the bag and the angles I'm pulling the bag open at, and the second factor is under-ideal stitching/ leather manufacturing or maintenance at factory. However this is the only one that broke and so far no other one has shown signs of doing the same in any shape or form!!!
Still a STRONG BUY!!!
First Monthly Review (2 Months Old):
For the second month of owning this bag I've realized and understood this is probably the best bag in its category and probably in every other category out there! The way that the bag fits on my back makes the bag comfortable efficient and ideal, also as a briefcase with low weight loads it is a breeze and a plus factor of fashion to have at your side. This bag overall out of 10 would probably be 11 but considering all things aside I'm going to give it a 10 out of 10! Still no other zipper leather pulling parts have shown signs of tearing or wear, still just the back main pocket compartment has pulled off and broke; to which I have been able to fix upwards to 3 to 5 times, by stapling and or using leather glue. I recommend you to be cautious of how much stress you put on the zippers themselves and just don't pull it on old angles.
Still a STRONG BUY!!!
Second Monthly Review (3 Months Old):
This bag still has hidden features I'm just now finding out about like, inside the main compartment the two pockets can fit a 4 x 7" writers notebook and also a TI-84 CE plus calculator and they are perfect fits to, also with the space that the zipper doesn't close in the main compartment due to the briefcase clip blocking it you can route a charger through that and mount it down the backpack straps to charge your phone, also you can enjoy the front outside pockets spill resistant lining (it's like a tarp but not if that makes sense) the pocket can stop something from leaking inside to outside the bag or from outside to in the bag (no in the bag to main compartment however, there isn't any lining on the back of the pocket inside.) this bag has been nothing but greatness, I expect nothing but furthermore greatness to come!
Still a STRONG BUY!!!
Third Monthly Review (4 Months Old):
This bag has held up to the abuse and the everyday use, this bag can and will not only make you stylish but also gives you many great options for anything from school and work or just to carry random items. However, if you have a lot of items you better be a great packer to fit large amounts of items in the back, as room can and will run out... quicker than you might think. However, this doesn't mean that the bags space is lint great (as it's pretty good) it's just bigger items call for less room and smaller items tend to be for this bag. (Like notebooks, planners, binders (1.5 in and lower) and small booklets just to name a few.)

I was looking for a laptop bag that would look nice but also have the feature of a backpack without looking like a teenager using it. This is the one. Just came back from business trip and couldn't be happier with the backpack feature and the opening to attach to handle of my carry on. I did send a question to the support email a week ago and didn't receive a response. Not a good sign, but hopefully I won't need support. Definitely worth it for the money.
