Purchased to help me handle my elderly mom who has late state dementia and difficulty walking and balancing. I use it to transfer her into the shower and out. It's easy to use because once I have her in the shower and seated I can quickly release by removing my hand from one of the grip slots and slide the belt off her vs. other style belts that have to be unbuckled.

This is the best transfer sling that I've ever used. It is like a breeze for both patient and caretaker.
First of all, the sponge pad is really comfortable. It can hold heavy legs for pretty long time without the patient being sweaty nor feeling pain. The touch is pretty soft too so jiggling wouldn't hurt the skin either.
Then, the hand holder part is pretty friendly too. I lifted a 200lb patient from bed to wheelchair, and feel no pain at all on my hands.
Overall I'd say, if you're looking for a transfer sling, this one is a MUST BUY. I just love it so much.
