i'm retired, and I have problems with my legs. I cannot stand for more than a few minutes at a time. This cane is a lifesaver. I saw someone else using this thing when I was out and about, And I asked her to show me how it worked. So I had to go out and get me one. this thing is really work. This thing allows me to get out of the house and go about my daily business. Could not recommend it any higher. Now I can be a little bit of A hassel, getting comfortable using it because it seems a little unbalanced when you first sit on it. but with a little practice, I have no problems at all

The cane function leaves much to be desired, in that the handle is hard and a bit too small for my hand. And two of the three legs hang down almost to the ground alongside the main "cane" one. I don't need the cane part so I find myself carrying it horizontal, and it is light enough to do that. You sit on it with the cane handle coming up in front of you, and it is comfortable for taking a five or ten minute break. It came with a maroon seat cover which does make it more comfortable (I turned mine inside out to make it grey) but I probably wouldn't watch a football game on it. The bottom line is that it works great while I'm walking around a car show, or five blocks of outdoor Art Festival, or at the Tucson Gem show. Or at Walmart, where they no longer provide seating for old folks who need to sit down occasionally. So plan to use your regular cane when you are going somewhere that does offer seating. But this is handy for when you go somewhere you expect seating to be unavailable.

Loved the chair but found seat not to be wide enough or have enough support for my husband. Overall a great product

I love that this is lighter than my tote bag. A few years ago I purchased one that was much heavier. Unfortunately, I left in on an airplane and though it was new I was unable to use it for future trips. I bought this for a European trip as I am not able to stand too long. Walking is less of a problem for me even though I have a torn meniscus arthritis and ankle issues. I am surprised that this is called heavy duty and holds someone twice my size. There is one bold in the middle of the three legs, I will buy a couple of spare screws and bolts at the hardware store to take along with me on the trip. The current screw is a Philips head so I'll make sure to pack a Swiss Army Knife or Leatherman tool knife in my check luggage. I will be using this for three weeks Europe about three hours a day.

The pros: Super light Lighter than my tote bag full. May purchase a Velcro guitar like strap and carry when I do not use it so I can keep my hands free for taking photos.
I purchased this particular cane seat because the seat size is generous at over 10 inches at the widest part.
The seat is comfortable enough.

It comes with a stick-on thin seating pad which I will not adhere but will pack with me in case I need it. In the event of rain the holes in the seat is handy for drainage.

The seat securely stays up. Reviews for others who purchased different models complained about the seat flipping down while walking.

A LED small flashlight and holder was included. This will come in handy as many roads are not well lit.

It folds flat so I could pack it in my American size suitcase if needed but the bag may be too large for European commuter planes. Will just carry on.

Compared to my previous heavier version. This chair is easier getting on and off as I can easily pull it out from under myself. The heavier smaller seat was too difficult for me to manage.

Cons:

My bolt was a bit loose upon arrival. Only one bold holding together three legs. As I stated above, I will buy some spare screws and bolts to bring along with me on this European trip which is nearly a month long.

Hard to believe that it will hold a person twice my weight ....but ....could be possible.

Will update after using it for a month visiting six countries. I foresee difficulty using it on cobblestone but will bring it along anyway as I can not stand for long periods of time on a 2 hour or 8 hour day tour.

Bottom line. Light enough to manage. So far satisfied.
Am encouraging my sister to buy one to take along with her as well as she has arthritis and ankle issues as well.

it certainly worked when I needed to stand a time cause now I have my own seat to rest. Am 84 on a cane for balance and I get tired because I am 84! The one time I took it to an art show I was in and had to be with my art... it worked great as would have had to stand for a long time. Two questionable challenges...... One......... my kids expressed that they were afraid. i'd fall over when seated as you need to straddle and could fall back. Needed is to have a sense of seated balance and strength to sit well on it which I do think I can! The other (that I will see if it bothers me) is .......it is not the weight of a regular cane and is a little heavy when walking with it. I will be taking it out once again(another art show YAY!) and hopefully, I will not find the weight of it difficult
