Wired both lights together and man's SHES bright. For the price just buy it. Looks great on my Apollo Rfz250. Mounting straps are ok and the little tabs on the bottom help her stay centered

Great for night single track up to 50 mph. After that you are over running the light. The 2007 300 xc has un rectified AC output of 60 to 100 volts. I used a trail tech voltage regulator and left the adjustment screw stock setting. I mounted regulator behind headlight with 2 sided tape. Bottom mount did require drilling 2 holes in fender and use of 2 drywall screws. The light is a filament type bulb so does not require rectifier. Saves space, weight and simplifies installation. LED lights are not an option without rectifier when you have ac output. For the record the regulator cost more than the light. There are cheaper options, but have found the Trail Tech regulators really hold up to enduro type abuse. Overall great light for the price.
