This worked well for what I needed it to do. It stays well aligned. It latches and un-latches easily and is a nice simple design which means it should last a long time. I have the 16" ones which in this application are down about 1/8th of a bubble from level. I believe this is due to the retention method where it drops into a slot which takes it down a bit. No worries, I could shim up if I need to, which I don't.
The biggest challenge is just getting the screw in closest to the hinge point. That is due to the two arms that are a part of the mechanism in the way. A long shank screw driver is needed there.
