So I bought these right after buying some small mason jars for freezer canning and then those not sealing properly well these have that standard mason jar lid and you can get a seal quite easily if I needed more of them which I won't for a bit because this is a lot of jars I would not hesitate to purchase these jars again I mean I wouldn't say leak proof I mean you have to screw it together solidly but it's pretty close to leak proof unless you didn't screw the lid on tight enough

I bought these to make Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites and they work great for that purpose.
Temp 168°
Time 45 mins.
4-oz mason jars, lids and rings.
~4-xlarge eggs. (6 large eggs filled 5 jars)
~Big pinch kosher sea salt.
~Big pinch fresh ground blk pepper.
~Big pinch hot red pepper flakes.
~Big pinch granulated garlic, or minced fresh.
~ 1/4 cup cottage cheese.
~ 1/4 cup gruyere cheese x2 (reserve 1)
~ 1/4 cup Mont Jack cheese.
blend the heck out of ~ ingredients~.
1 piece bacon fried kinda crispy . Then break into 4 pcs to fit bottom of jars.
Pour blended mixture into jars that are lightly coated with your favorite non stick spray. I like ghee. Leave about 1/2" of head space.
Finely chop left over bacon and add to blended mixture, in jars optional. Screw on lids and rings snuggly, NOT super tight.
Use tongs to place jars in water when it's reached temp.
Clean up your mess.
When cook is over remove from bath, let rest for a bit, open jars then run back side of table knife around edge and they'll come right out. Add remaining gruyere cheese and lightly broil, or torch if you can wait that long to eat'em!
KEEP ANY EXTRA IN FRIDGE THEY KEEP WELL IN THE JARS AND ARE EASY TO REHEAT.
