Great product and fantastic customer service

Great product. Easy to install and works like it should. Package came with no hardware to mount them so I reached out to their customer support. Received a response the next morning and had the hardware in my mailbox two days later.
Why pay the overpriced installers

Why pay the overpriced installers when you can get this done yourself or hire it out with this amazon product! I ordered 32 ft to test in one small spot of the house and it was so easy to install and was working great that I ordered the 200 ft and another 32' box to get the job done. The process of working left to right around the home made this go smooth. The worst part is moving the ladder after every 4' piece. But getting in a rhythm got it done in 3 separate days.
These work

My wife and I bought a new house and the gutters were full of all manner of leaves, pine straw and gunk and we got it out, but I am too old to head up twice a year and clear them out. So, my 20 year old son and I put the Leaf Tek gutter guards on over a few days "¦ taking our time. The house is too tall for an A-frame ladder all around so we had to lean my ladder against the gutter. We had to wiggle the guards around the ladder, but it worked. The areas where the A-frame ladder fit went better. It all worked, the test after assembly was a big storm that went through here, no over flow! So far nothing in the gutters.
Good points:
They carry black guards, they have screws and a driver bit. The holes seem to be enough to let water in and small enough to keep other things out. It works.
Yes, this old Soldier recommends them. Putting them up is work, but only a one time event. Have your teens help if they can, it'll save your knees :-)

In My Estimation, This is an Excellent Product

I only qualify this with "in my estimation" because since installing these LeafTek gutter guards, they have not yet had the chance to perform their function. Though from my inspection of the product I have no reason to believe they will not when the time comes.
They are very sturdy and seem to be produced to acceptable tolerances, consistent among themselves such that they came together quite easily when installing them.
One thing I would deduct a couple of points for is that I was not provided with enough screws to follow the 5 screws/panel rubric as set forth in the instructions. I was only 2 short, but of course didn't notice until I was nearing the installation of the last panel. I had 3 screws for the last panel so I was going to install what I had and just hope that was adequate. As I was installing the first screw into my final panel, a gust of wind blew the little baggie with the other 2 screws in it down and out into the alley behind my house. For as much as 3 might have been adequate, 1 was clearly not going to be. I climbed down off of my roof and went in search of the little baggie in my alley and was fortunate enough to find it. I climbed back up on my roof and finished installing the last panel.
It has always been a puzzlement to me why companies that sell products that require some double or triple digit numbers of fasteners in order to assemble whatever the product is, don't just as a standard practice throw in a single extra just for good measure. There have been times where I've dropped a screw down into a place where it couldn't be retrieved, and it has happened with both scenarios, where I was supplied an extra, and when I wasn't, and it made a world of difference in terms of the ease in which I completed them both.
I gave this product 5 stars all the way, because I really do believe it is a quality product, and I was surprised at how well it fit onto my gutters and how easy it was to install. I'm just hoping the last of the panels truly is secure enough with only three screws.

Pretty Perfect

So after reviewing all the old, ineffective types of gutter guards that were on my house, I decided to buy these and I'm glad I did.
Time will tell how these will perform but I feel super confident that these will be very effective with the type of leaves and other things that fly off the trees along the back of my home. Anything with a rough surface is just like velcro to the stuff that comes off my trees. These are smooth with pretty small holes so I think the will be far better than most products on the market to keep thing off and out the gutter. They screw in so they're not going anywhere. Thin, but rigid, nicely painted.
The black color, they will be better to have in the winter as they will heat up faster.
They look very nice IMHO, nice clean look to them. My pics were as I was installing them. It's a shame no one can see them, lol.
They are very easy to install, instructions, plenty of screws and a drill bit provided. You'll need a good pair of tin snips to cut them though.
Took me hour and a half to remove the old guards, blow the gutters out with a leaf blower and install approximately 60ft on the first floor. The second floor probably will take longer.
My only recommendation would be to change to a smoother rounded screw, for same reason as above, prevent things from getting stuck. Despite that, I'm very happy with these!!
I definitely will be buying another 100' to finish off the rest of my house.
