Great Product!

After reading through the reviews, I'd like to clear some things up. I ordered 2 sets of these, 1x in white (32 ft) and 1x in black (100 ft). The gutter guards arrived fully in tact without dents or anything missing (bit, screws, etc.). They were very easy to install on my brand new shingled roof (08/24/2023). Took about 3 hours to install on 2 different roofs of my 1880s American Federal Style Historic home. Since installation, I've had multiple heavy rain storm here in Upstate NY and I must say, these gutter guards work like a charm! Cutting them to create a 90 angle was simple using aviation snips. Note: My photo(s) was taken during installation so disregard the part(s) that are not secured yet!
Great product.

Well made, decent gauge steel, is not flimsy. Installation was straight forward. My roof has a drip edge, and some complained about installation being difficult in this scenario. The drip edge becomes an issue when you get to the highest pitch area of your gutter. As some others commented, you may have to gently lift the shingles and drip edge to be able to drive the screws into the facial board. Not a big deal, and was easy to do during a time of day when the roof had been warmed by the sun. Product seems to be solid, a Michigan winter will be the real test.
Pretty Perfect

So after reviewing all the old, ineffective types of gutter guards that were on my house, I decided to buy these and I'm glad I did.
Time will tell how these will perform but I feel super confident that these will be very effective with the type of leaves and other things that fly off the trees along the back of my home. Anything with a rough surface is just like velcro to the stuff that comes off my trees. These are smooth with pretty small holes so I think the will be far better than most products on the market to keep thing off and out the gutter. They screw in so they're not going anywhere. Thin, but rigid, nicely painted.
The black color, they will be better to have in the winter as they will heat up faster.
They look very nice IMHO, nice clean look to them. My pics were as I was installing them. It's a shame no one can see them, lol.
They are very easy to install, instructions, plenty of screws and a drill bit provided. You'll need a good pair of tin snips to cut them though.
Took me hour and a half to remove the old guards, blow the gutters out with a leaf blower and install approximately 60ft on the first floor. The second floor probably will take longer.
My only recommendation would be to change to a smoother rounded screw, for same reason as above, prevent things from getting stuck. Despite that, I'm very happy with these!!
I definitely will be buying another 100' to finish off the rest of my house.

I gave these great gutter guards four stars because not everyone will be able to install them on their own. While easy for the mechanically inclined, working on a ladder is not for everyone. So four stars for that reason. Otherwise, this is definitely a five star product! I had four runs to do. Two boxes of eight pieces created the least amount of waste and, in round numbers, 25 dollars less than the 100 foot quantity. So measure twice, buy once. Then, measure twice and cut once.
I purchased the black anodized ones to melt snow in the winter. In my research, it was suggested that for single story applications like mine that one buy a cheap street broom and mount the handle through the bristles. This way, if needed, you have a way to clean the snow off the gutter covers. This is so ice does not form. However, being black, I think that should not really be a problem. Nonetheless, I have seen things go crazy in the Northeast winters. Things you think you do not need to plan for can happen and then you may have a real job on your hands to correct. So, better to plan for something and not need what you buy than not to plan for it and need it like this reverse broom idea.
After I did the first two of four runs, we got a real soaker rain storm. It came down so hard I heard the rain fall on the roof over my air conditioner fan noise. When I looked out my front door, there was no run over from the gutter covers. Whe I opened the front door, there was a strong water flow sound and zero dripping, and no overflow.
The next day, I finished the remaining two runs and we got more rain in copious amounts! It rained so hard, the rain looked like fog! The gutter covers processed even that much rain! No heavy dripping and no overruns.
I expected to see water flowing over the edge, overrun, but nothing! That sold me 100 percent on this product. I am already recommending it to others that may benefit from this product. Even if you have a two-story house. Do this once and never climb up that high on a ladder again for many years to come.
I have also included a phone photo that shows how a gutter cover run should look when finished. As per the instructions, three screws along the front gutter cover lip and two in the back through the fascia board. Then keep adding 4 foot pieces until you reach the end of the gutter. If you have a short empty space, or any length to cover, you then cut a 4 foot piece to fit. The remaining gutter guard length, after being cut, will serve for other short spaces that will need to be covered to complete any total covering of a gutter run. See my photo of 8 feet of covered gutter to see how it should look when complete.

These perform higher than my expectations. I've tried the big box stores off the shelf gutter guards and they all were terrible. I did a lot of research into different gutter leaf guards, reviews, cost, installation instructions and techniques. These Leafetek gutter guards are a solid, legit, high performing gutter guard. I live I'm Chicagoland, installed these this past fall. Easy install once you dry-fit a few pieces in order to format a plan. Installing left to right or right to left made no difference to me. Some of my gutters, rather new ones, were not exactly even far as width. This challenged install by needing to maneuver and negotiate the gutter and guard to ensure fit prior to screwing guards in place. This was a fun and rewarding project. I installed on my house and separate 4 car garage.
Far as performance... wow, no complaints. At all! Fall leaves, not a problem, did not collect, did not block. Bitter cold, snow and ice, yes a few icicles, less than prior to Leaftek gutter guards. Only a few. The design allowed melting to take place pretty quickly. No clogs or blockages. Spring downpours, and I mean heavy deluge of rain, not a problem. The Leaftek gutter guards kept up with demand, never overflowed, never was there more rain than these could handle. I am very impressed and super glad I ordered and installed them. I recommend angled aluminum cutting shears, cordless drill, tape measure, straight edge to ensure you are cutting correctly and a marker or similar for marking cut lines and corner points. I was intimidated by the measuring, cutting and screwing these to my gutters. After initial first few, it became pretty simple. A home DYIer can definitely install these on a single story home. Multiple stories I can not speak to installation, only to performance.
I am very pleased. Wish I did this years ago.
