One of my cats has health issues and dropped way too much weight. One has an overeaing problem. We needed to be able to monitor their weights accurately, and this scale has really delivered. It is a little bit loud, but they are both used to it by now. The way it slightly curves and cradles them is comforting, I think. I don't see them using it as a bed, but they are very good about just sitting on it while we weigh them, so it's easy to use!
A terrific product for our family and a must buy for any new parent preparing for a newborn!

What a buy! My wife is currently in her third trimester of pregnancy (38 weeks) and is preparing for the final few weeks before delivery of our twin boys! I have been ordering frequently on Amazon baby-related products such as diapers and infant formula, and this is an incredible product for any parents starting a family!
Baby Scale Tray: This is a very large yet quite lightweight baby scale tray (just a few pounds) and the combined length is very long (79 cm or 29.4 inches). It includes ruler marks that will be perfect for measuring my baby boy's growth from the day he is born to when he is able to walk.
Two In One Product: I saw on Amazon this is a two in one product that is great for both baby and older kids. I was surprised to see this product is suitable for even adults since the max weight is 220 pounds. After I ordered on Amazon and received the product, I found this is really the case as tray is secured to the scale itself using a notch that can be easily secured on or removed. My wife says she will use this scale too to monitor her weight and we will not have to buy another scale in the future!
Highly Accurate Measurement Reading: This is a very accurate scale with four different types of measurement units, including kilograms, pounds, ounces and kilograms/ounces. This is very convenient because I intend to use ounces when measuring the weight of my baby (for more accuracy), but my wife will use pounds when checking her weight. I am very excited with this product because not only I can make sure my newborn baby will be gaining weight properly, my wife can also manage her weight as well!
Product Test Results: We have a two years and ten months old male poodle in the house and recently it has not been eating properly and seemed very lethargic around the house. I recalled when we weighed our poodle at the vet a week ago, he was 11 pounds and 10.5 ounces. Today when I assembled the baby scale and weighed our poodle, it read 11 pounds and 11.5 ounces, a difference of only one ounce! Of course, a dog weight fluctuates, but I would say this scale is very accurate and I feel very confident using it on my infant.
Built In Bluetooth Wireless Connection with Free Downloadable iPhone App: A feature that really caught my eye about this scale is the built in Bluetooth connection that allows me to wirelessly connect the scale to my iPhone. I just simply went on the App Store and downloaded the free app "BabyFit" and after a simple email account creation process, I was able to track the weight of my poodle! It is very easy to switch between family members on the app as it can support multiple profiles data history. The instruction manual is very well written with clear instructions on how to use the scale and the iphone app and unlike some instruction manuals I have read in the past, I never felt lost or confused on any step while reading this one!
Overall Summary As a new father starting a new family, making sure my first child gains weight properly is very important to me and nearly any new parent. I have already created five profiles on the Baby Fit App for myself, my wife, our poodle and our soon to be newborn twins, and this is truly a terrific value for the money!
