Comfortable and good looking,easy to put on and take off, and have gotten many compliments on them.

Looks better than I expected. Great fit. True to size. Purchased this to go with my pirate outfit for Halloween but I think it looks great with jeans as well. This is my first boot ever & it feels great.

I want to start off by saying that I am a woman. My size in men's in a 6.5, but these are just a smidge too large. There's a review in here from some guy in Florida that I agree with: If you go a size smaller, they'll probably be too tight. That said, I think once it gets colder and thicker socks are needed, they'll fit fine.

I bought these because it is so hard to find a decent pair of boots that aren't for fashion in the women's section. I wanted something that can withstand actually walking through dirt and rocks without falling apart or hurting my feet. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money.

I take the bus about 3 times a week and I walk about a mile home each time. So far they have handled the walk very well. It is September 24th and I've had them since July 12th. I live in the desert Southwest in Texas. When I walk home, I have to walk past a mountain that is constantly falling apart onto the sidewalk. It has rained recently and there's a lot of rocks and dirt all over. I have had no issues walking in these and they grip rather nicely. It's still in the 90s, but I have worn these in 100 degree weather and they have been good during that time too.

Overall I would recommend these boots if you're on a budget. They are not bad for the price and I am pleased with my purchase.

Edit: I bought these in July of 2021 and it is now February of 2023. A zipper finally gave out and I wore these boots often. I did get a car at the end of 2021, so I did not need to work them as much, but I still wore them regularly. I do not regret making the purchase. I did get a new pair of boots for a steal so I won't be buying these ones now, but they were an option.

Despite the zipper it was time for a new pair as I wore the heels down to weird angles as one does.

Also, take note of the laces. These ones only have the holes and it seems the other style is rather terrible. So keep that in mind if you are considering these.

So I figured I'd do an initial review and then another later down the road. But straight out of the box I have to say I'm impressed. Especially after reading some of the negative reviews on here. Seems solidly built and until quality was better than I was expecting but my bar was admittedly low - I mean, for $45, what can you expect? I've taken my dog out on a couple walks with no issues save for a hot spot on my right ankle, but my guess is that'll go away after breaking them in for a bit. I made sure that I was cautious about the zipper but it seemed solid. Overall can't say I'm anything but impressed, but I'll check back in a couple weeks for a longer-term review.
