This is a well made tray. I appreciated the fun activity pages and dry erase markers. I bought two of these for my two kids, as well as another tray to compare them. I planned to return the one I liked least. I found the pockets on this tray were too small and tight to fit much of anything, but my son didn't mind too much. There was also no cupholder, and the tray covered the car seat cupholder. I liked the other brand better, so I tried to return this one. Amazon wouldn't allow a return due to "flammable liquids" (dry erase markers, maybe??). I reached out to the company, and they were amazing!! They refunded me completely and told me I could keep the tray! The company obviously cares about treating people right.

Update to my review Tomser customer service has reached at several times to make sure we are satisfied with their product and has made every attempt that its a good product fit for our 3yr old. It's rare that businesses care so much to make the effort. But they stood by therer product 100%
After reading many great reviews of this lap top table I purchased it and now I am stuck with a product that will sit and collect dust as the item is not eligible for returns unless it is defective or damaged.....
The desk top is not stable enough for small children to navigate on their lap in a car as stated, its flimsy and over-sized and doesn't sit comfortably around a car seat. I Would recommend it for older children.

Great for travel rear facing car seat

Bought this for my 2 year old son to use in his rear facing Graco car seat (has cup holders on both sides) and it fit perfectly! Used as food tray and surface for playing. Since it has a slot to put the reusable activity sheets, you can also buy (and trim) cheap place mats from the dollar store or walmart to put favorite characters or car tracks there for added fun while playing.
We did roughly 26 hours in the car nonconsecutive, and we did bring out the tablet a lot, but this was a game changer. Highly recommend and DOES WORK GREAT REAR FACING!
Wiped clean for food clean up and we did buy a dry erase eraser to use for the dry erasers.

This tray is super cool. It's not exactly what I was expecting, but I'm still glad I bought it. The storage flaps on the side are meant to just hang down on the sides, they are not structural to hold up the tray as I had initially thought. The tray is held in place by a buckle strap that straps around your child's waist. It holds a tablet remarkably well, despite first impressions. Overall happy with this purchase.

Bought this to keep my kids head forward. Took a long trip 5+ hours and didn't wamt my daughter's head looking down at the tablet the whole time.
The install was super easy and allowee me to prop her tablet up and keep her busy coloring.
The only thing I didn't like was it was awkward with her seats armrests.
