This tray is super cool. It's not exactly what I was expecting, but I'm still glad I bought it. The storage flaps on the side are meant to just hang down on the sides, they are not structural to hold up the tray as I had initially thought. The tray is held in place by a buckle strap that straps around your child's waist. It holds a tablet remarkably well, despite first impressions. Overall happy with this purchase.

Was surprised at how light it was and how flat the packaging was. We bought this for a long haul flight and tried it out in the car. It came with erasable whiteboard pens (one wasn't working), and a few coloring paper which our child (kindergartener to elementary school age) really liked. I am not sure if this was worth the price, I could see buying this at a lower price point.
There was no instructions when we first got it but it was somewhat ok to figure out how the pieces come together from looking at the photos. The quality of the materials isn't great but it does the job. I like how it is light in weight but sturdy in the table area.
We will see how this holds up with our air travel but for car travel it kept the kiddo busy with coloring, and that was a nice plus.

I ordered two of these travel trays. The pink one is perfect. The shoulder straps fit into the receptors well. The blue one has one problem. The strap insert is too small for the strap receptor. The images show that the pink strap insert is larger than the black strap insert. The receptor is the same size on each tray. I just need the larger insert piece to allow the tray to be carried over the shoulder. Otherwise, there is no use for the shoulder strap.
The trays look sturdy enough to get the job done. Plenty of pockets for the markers.
