Scanner Software Stops accepting scans after 4000 ID scanned

Hi, I've recently started seeing an error message when scanning IDs into the scan-id database, stating that 'the total number of records has reached the maximum of 4000'.
Is there any resolution for this? I hope the serial on the CD was for the full version...
Updating my review to include the fact that this default 4000 value is editable in the 'System settings' of the software. It appears that the maximum number of scans per database is 10,000. Still a bit concerned by this, hence only 4 stars

We were looking for a cheap alternative to a visitor system for our office which ran anywhere from $1200 to $7000 with a huge monthly fee. This thing works great and comes with the full version of ID scan (which I highly recommend). Once you install the software and plug it in, all you have to do is align it (if comes with an alignment card). And it is ready to scan. Just open up the software and put an ID in the scanner, it automatically feeds it and askes you to flip it over. It automatically imports all of the information on the ID into the database fields and copies both sides of the ID to the database automatically! Great for the money.

Nice little scanner. Only 4 stars because it comes with a CD for installation. I had to search around for software on their site I could download. My office uses driver's licenses for tax returns. This way we can store the images in the client file.
