Installed the batteries, Plugged it in and set the time zone and the auto dimmer feature and that was it. Made sure the alarm feature was turned off. I didn't try the alarm but it looked easy to setup too.

Just set it for your time zone and it does all the work for you. Nice that it has a battery backup and personally you should put batteries in it so if the power does go out then when the power comes back on the battery disengages automatically. Once it comes back on if you didn't use the battery backup it you have to go thru the set up routine again. My only complaint is that even in the most reduced light mode it's still a little bright but at least with the light being blue it doesn't shine through your eyelids when you close your eyes. Nice that it has a USB port in the front of it. I highly recommend this and would buy it again if I needed a new one or another one.

Bought two of these and we are very happy with them. Planning on ordering more for gifts. Didn't know if we would like the orange color of the display but it looks great. Fully dimmable so it won't light up your bedroom unless you turn it up to the highest level. Love the increasing loudness of the alarm if you don't wake up right away. Money well spent.

this clock is awesome and well crafted it felt sturdy and of good quality material right out the box, came already preset to the time so i didn't have to set it up, it's very compact more on the smaller side but it's great enough for a clock right by your nightstand, the labeling and font looked very clean i'd definitely recommend but remember it's on the smaller compact side if you have it set farther in your room and you have poor vision i wouldn't recommend getting it cause you'd have to walk up to it to see the clock each time so yeah keep that in mind
