Great Machine right out of the box. Needs a few things updated
JL✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 30, 2023
It's definitely heavy duty! It is loud! But it works great. I used it right out of the box as soon as it arrived. It does sew fast but that's ok, I have no problem with the speed. And mine did come with a bobbin case as well as extra bobbins and a small tool box and thread stand
Edit...
No spring load shank, had to really work on getting the pressure right so that it would hold the fabric in place. I agree the manual is awful. There are two feet included but I have no idea what size they are. Overall I am getting the job done. I will post when I'm finished with my project.
Least Expensive Walking Foot Sewing Machine
George✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 17, 2023
Found this to be the least expensive walking foot for leather and vinyl sewing.

This is the same design of other walking foot sewing machines: REX-607, Reliable 2000U-33, 200ZW, Family Sew, Omega, Tuffsew, Sewline and Sail Rite LS-1 Machines - all made in China.
This is a portable model - which means it has a smaller motor.
You can mount this to a table and add larger motor w/belt - that would make this perfect!
Starting with the smaller motor requires some "hand" assistance...if I was doing a lot of work i would change the motor, but this does great job through 5 layers of vinyl as well as heavy leather.

I removed the handle, as that is in the way when threading the bobby evenly (see picture) - not sure why they put that in the way... you can leave it and manually help the thread evenly up and down on the bobby.

I did purchase a separate presser foot welt online to do piping or welt (search on any of the other manufacturers) - this walking foot is a bit different than other walking foot models, so make sure to order the correct one (see picture)

I would decide if i want table mount or portable. Then shop around for any of the models listed, they are all identical.
Non standard feed dogs screws in from right hand side.

Overall great machine, but the nonstandard feed dog means that any industrial attachments you have will not work on this machine. As the feed dog would need to be rotated 180° which depending on what attachments you have would result in a no fit scenario. After an exhaustive search, no parts or attachments are made available for this unit to my knowledge. The unit it self works well but does not come with case, on consews own website this unit is decipted as coming with a case.
Great Machine!

I previously reviewed this machine and stated that it needed more low speed torque, but it turns out that after the break-in period it sews great. To speed up break-in, I oiled everything liberally and ran the machine at various speeds without thread for 8 minutes in 7-8 different sessions, re-oiling each time, allowing the motor to cool in-between (I don't think the motor actually got hot, but it was simply precaution.). You'll notice that the oil run-off will turn grey with fine metal flakes. This is normal for any machine including new cars.
The machine has always produced perfectly accurate stitches (2 to four layers of mid-weight leather) and would do so at high speeds, but now it does the same perfect stitches at really low speeds, which is what I needed. In fact, I can now bump the pedal and fire out one stitch at a time, which is great for sewing around tight curves on very expensive leather upholstery pieces.
So approximately 18,000 stitches in, I have had NO needle breaks, NO bobbin skips and only about 2 thread breaks which were not the machine's fault, with all the stitches being extremely consistent in terms of both length and spacing.
Excellent condition right out of the box

My machine arrived on time and in excellent condition yesterday. It's important to note that the case and sewing machine oil need to be ordered separately. I knew to order the case, but not the oil. Fortunately, because I have other machines which need oil, I had some on hand. I've been testing it out, and have been able to sew through
4 layers each of both suede (1 - 2oz) and deer hide (about 3oz). As an experienced sewist (50+ years), I can highly recommend this machine for sewing leather and other heavy-duty fabrics. As a final note, you will want a well-lit area or a table lamp next to your sewing area. I taped a small string of (battery powered) LED lights to it.
