It'a actually about 2" too short for the threshold and step, but I've been able to make it work and wouldn't have wanted a longer ramp. I can easily step on the ramp with mom in her wheelchair and my feet have good grip. No slipping at all.

Due to a hip operation I'm using a wheelchair for awhile. To get into the house from the garage there is a 6 inch step. I bought this ramp so I could easily get me and my wheelchair into the house. The ramp is 4 ft and it works perfectly. I'll probably just leave it in place when I no longer need the wheelchair. The ramp is quality-built, non-slippery, and highly recommended.
