Handy portable air tank

This tank comes with four 3/8" NPT outlets with plastic plugs. Three on one end and one on the other.
I ordered some 3/8" NPT brass plugs and 3/8" male to 1/4" female NPT fittings. Then installed two air chucks.
This comes with a ball type drain valve, pressure relief valve, air pressure gauge and a check valve elbow with a 1/4" male air hose adapter.
I used this with a 5 gallon compressor which gave me longer use of the impact wrench without draining the compressor tank so fast.

I use it for spraying texture. I have an 8 gallon air compressor which runs out of air on large texture patches, causing me to wait 10 seconds or so to re-fill with air. With the air keg, the air does not run out when I'm doing patches! The texture is looking even better with the added 10 gallons of air. I now have 18 gallons of air.
It came with 4 couplings with thread tape already wrapped around all 4 of them!
There is no pressure adjustment valve. Whatever pressure you have on your compressor, will be the pressure on the air keg.
My compressors max psi is 150.

If you are thinking about adding a tank to your compressor system or having a small air tank for mobile jobs like brad nailing, look no further. Especially if you can score one on amazon for 120 bucks shipped. It's sturdy and well built (hence the 225psi), love the Rolair green. Shipped and packaged well. I would recommend buying 3/8 Npt plugs, at least 3. The tool-out plug that comes included is 1/4 NPT. I changed that to the female quick coupler with male 1/4 NPT thread, since you want the air to be kept in if you were to remove the tank from your compressor for mobile applications. You won't find this tank cheaper than 170 on other sites and it's much better quality than the big store cheap 125psi tanks.
