Beautiful and healthy roots couldnt be happier.
Planted and they are several feet tall!

Planted a few months ago, but a bit late. Nevertheless, the are serval feet tall and will bloom in the coming weeks.

Invasive food, and it really needs it's own section to take over if you plan on planting Sunchokes in your garden. They are worth it, but as I said they are very invasive. Please by mindful of your local area and don't plant this in wild spaces were they can get out of hand.
Fresh and fast, but....

Prompt delivery in good shape. However, the variety I got looks very different from the photo. The bulbs are practically covered with little sub-bulbs, which makes cleaning and preparation for cooking very awkward. They have even many more microbulbs than those in the review pictures.
I grew sunchokes in Europe for more than 30 years, and I realize that there are many cultivars. Quite a few of them come in pretty complicated shapes, but I never saw any variety with such a complicated surface.
Instead of cooking them, I'll use them for planting and see if they come out a bit different in the soil we have here in Northern Michigan.
Everything Grew

The Sun choke rubers arrived fast. And damp so they grew quickly. And are now 3 feet high. Glenn
Can you say tiny tiny?

I did not expect them to be so small. I've never had them before so I'm guessing that's the way they are supposed to be. I planed some and ate the remainder. I will try and update after the harvest.
