Great program with lots of options. Have been using Nero for years. Last upgrade was Nero 9, thought it time to upgrade to Platinum 2019. Price to do so was right.

If this showed up as a piece of paper with a digital download link I would have returned it. YES it comes on a real disc! Thank you NERO! Lots of people who are still messing with DVD/CD/BR are doing so because they don't have access to broadband.
This software needs to be activated to use all the parts but they have ways to activate it with a mobile phone,email,or fax. I am running this software on a Windows 7pro machine with the ASUS USB3.0 BR drive.
This software package does everything including printing the case labels.
I was able to burn MP4's to DVDs and BR's and have them play on normal TV connected players with menus and all.
It does a good job of splitting large data directories up that can't fit on one disc to multiple discs automatically.

The extra program "Audials" IS a digital download but I guess this is acceptable because if your recording internet radio streams then I guess its assumed you have internet. It would be nice if this software also came on the disc though because it is a large download. I have only played with it a little but it does work recording streams and saving them to MP3's automatically. This would be useful to record podcasts to CDr so you can listen in the car.

I didn't test the "cloud" stuff and have no interest in it.

Even though I think that Nero makes a very good product I find that it's user interface is lacking and not very intuitive. When Nero is installed in Windows 10 nothing appears on the desktop even though they are desktop apps. To create shortcuts on the desktop you have to go to the graphical interface version (Windows Key) and select the option on the app to go to the file location. Then you have to locate the executable file (.exe) and copy and then paste it onto the desktop. You have to do this for each application that you want to use. Or you can simply create the shortcut to the Nero main menu that contains links to all programs installed and not installed.
Installation is almost as awkward. While you do not have to uninstall older versions I have found that it is wise to do so. With version 2018 I was not able to uninstall it even though the menu indicated that it was removed. Instead I had to go to the Nero website and download the NeroFirstAid utility and run it to remove Nero 2018. In addition the NeroFirstAid utility removed all traces of Nero software on your machine. So if you have any free tools these will have to be re-downloaded and installed after running the tool. Then you have to proceed until you get to the custom installation option unless you want to install all of the available programs. There are several that I don't use and so I don't install on my machine. It seems to me that the whole process could be made easier.

However, when you get finished you will have one of, if not the premier multimedia package out there. I was going to purchase this package at another popular online site that I use all of the time. However, with Amazon Prime I was entitled to 1 day shipping instead of 5 to 7 days so I purchased it from Amazon. The package arrived in one day exactly as advertised which never ceases to amaze me.

If you are in the market for Nero Platinum 2019 this offering was reasonably priced and had incredible shipping. I believe that if you are a tech-savvy person you should not have any problems walking your way through the installation process. If you are a novice it may be a bit more difficult for you.

I've been using NERO for years and years. It does what I ask.

However customer support is pathetic. I seldom ever use customer support, preferring to search online for solutions to the problem. When I do contact customer support, I expect answers. Good luck with that for this product.

I have found Nero the easiest and best all around product. I stays out of the way until asked to be used. I have had less than 1% copy error rate on my 100 GB Blu Ray disks.
