Just what I wanted!

I used this for camping and I was able to make biscuits and gravy, oven roasted potatoes, bacon and eggs, all with one small gas canister and still have some left. I bought an oven thermometer to check accuracy and it was right on.
Excellent Product

Love, love, love this stove. I use it on my lanai instead of a grill, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The two burners have more than enough power to heat a 12" cast aluminum frying pan. And my first use of the oven registered temperatures of 450 degrees. Had some cosmetic damage during shipping, but the seller made things right. Only wish that Camp Chef made a cover for it.
Oven Slow to Heat Up, Heavy, Otherwise Just Great!

The Camp Chef Deluxe comes in a darker color than the regular Camp Chef camp oven/stove. It's a charcoal grey I would say. The oven takes 18 minutes to warm up to 350 or 25 minutes to warm up to 400 degrees F in 72-degree weather. It's slow. Allow a half hour for preheating. The baking time is longer even at the correct temperature. A muffin mix that says 15 minutes takes 20 minutes to bake. It's a moist heat, not a dry heat. You won't see much, if any, browning on top. This because there's only one gas burner in the oven, and it's small, 3,000 BTUH. I preheat the oven with the burner turned as high as it will go. Then I turn it down once the desired temperature has been reached. There is no exact "right" setting. You will have to experiment. The ambient (outdoor) temperature will probably affect this also.
The Camp Chef Deluxe oven is heavy too, about 35 lbs. You won't be toting it in a backpack. It's kind of bulky too at 25" wide x 18" tall x 18" deep (handles and propane bottle attached.) I'm having trouble finding a good place to keep it inside my full-size camper van. Ideally, you will want to put it on a picnic table or on a small folding table (16" x 24") all by itself.
Here's the deal.... the regular Camp Chef oven / stove comes with small burners: 3,000 BTUH in the oven and 7,000 BTUH on the stove top. The Camp Chef Deluxe has the same oven burner as the regular one, but the stove top burners are larger, 9,000 BTUH. The Camp Chef Professional comes with a larger, 5,000 BTUH, oven burner and the same stove top burners as the Camp Chef Deluxe. The price differences seem disproportionately large for the small, but important, differences in burner size. The two lesser Camp Chefs come with an over thermometer. The Camp Chef Professional comes with a thermostat for the oven, just like a home oven.
In spite of the shortcomings, I like it a lot. It beats a Coleman "tin box" oven all day long.

Good outdoor stove.

I really love this stove, however the oven doesn't heat up to the required temperature on a cooler windy day. I would understand that is to be expected since it is combating the elements. It did help me make wonderful food for us on our camping trip since I'm horrible at cooking over a fire.
It is a work horse.

I bought this oven in December 2019 and it has been my only cook stove ever since. I've baked in a standard RV oven with minimal success due to uneven baking. (Burnt bottoms) This unit does much better. Also, the two burners work great for stove top cooking including pressure caning meat, veg, and fruit preserves. I love it!
