This tripod is very well build and sturdy. I use it with a GoPro which is light weigh, but I'm sure it will handle heavier cameras. I had a smaller tripod which was a little more flexible but not as sturdy; it broke after a year of use. This one will last a long time. Well worth the money.

I love this tripod. I use it all the time when I take my go pro out and need a stand. I took it with me on one of my fun adventures and was able to wrap it around a tree si I could take a great picture of my family while we were hiking. This stand is awesome and it really does as you would think. It has a tight grip it's super flexible and not definitely waterproof. Not a problem at all. I love this.

Two big pros for me with this product were 1 - the legs are long enough to wrap around a pole or tree branch and hold it tight and 2 - the adapter that comes with the stand fits both a traditional camera and a GoPro
