Prolux Core Medium Duty Single Pad Commercial Polisher Floor Buffer Machine Tile Scrubber, 13 Inch Medium Duty

Key features
- •ABOUT THE PROLUX CORE - This heavy duty commercial buffer is a 13" single pad floor buffer option that contains only the scrub brush. Comes with a 50-foot commercial grade extension cord that saves time because you don't have to unplug and plug it back in when performing tasks in a large area.
- •INDUSTRIAL GRADE TELESCOPE - Comes equipped with an industry first Industrial grade telescopic wand! This wand makes height adjustments easy and ensures the perfect fit for users of any size.
- •GREAT FOR ANY SURFACE - The Core can handle it all! It strips, waxes, buffs, sands, polishes, cleans and refinishes any floor surface.
- •RANDOM ORBIT MOTOR - Outdated traditional commercial buffers use buffer heads that only spin in one direction. This can cause swirl and sanding marks, gouges and other damage to your floors. The Core uses a Random Orbit motor to avoid any and all of these issues.
- •VERSATILE - Includes a heavy-duty scrubbing brush for hard surfaces from tile to concrete. For delicate surfaces like laminate, hardwood, gym floors and carpet, choose between soft scrub and medium scrub brushes (not included).

I think the floor im trying to clean is weird. It didn't get in the grooves as well as I needed but it def has potential for other floors

Having looked for a small buffer to use on my wood floors that require periodic waxing. This fits the job perfectly because it's compact and easy to store. It only got four stars because I was unaware that in order to use buffing pads you need to buy the pad holder attachment, a $50 item. I'm not sure how many people will only use the brush attachment, but I expect many will also want to use pads, thus the overall cost gets a boost.
A quality piece of equipment.

It's heavy to take out of the closet but then tipping it and using the wheels to move around is super. The controls are handy and it's easy to maneuver. It has saved me time and back breaking scrubbing. It's probably more than I need but my floors and carpeting look much better.
A solid feeling buffer with a strong motor. Seems well built to me.

I have used this to clean a basement floor made of vinyl tiles which hadn't been cleaned for many years. The last time I cleaned it I used a rental buffer which worked fine but was a pain to handle, transport and lug down the stairs. The floor went too long between cleaning (my fault of course) and was just all marred up with drag marks, stains and heal marks. After clean with heavy duty stripper the mop water was filthy but the stains remained. The prolux core with a 3m red buffing pad made short work of the stains and got the floor to look as good as it could look. I plan to use the prolux with blue micro fiber buffing pads to keep it clean going forward. Our home is all hard wood flooring and I will try it out in the next few months to see how well it cleans them. To use the buffing pad you lift the prolux and "drop" it onto the friction fit pad attachment but when you put the handle down that mechanism is so tight you really have push down which raises the base off the pad attachment resulting in a less than good fit. When you tilt it forward it re-engages the handle lock and you get to start all over. Arggh. It the one feature I dislike but, I really, really dislike it. I think I may take the spring out so the release pedal will go down with a light tap. Then to re-engage it I know I would need to tap it back into place when the handle is upright.
Didn’t come with extra disk to attach different pads.

I was expecting a bit more from it. It just seemed to take longer to clean a small area. I am going to try it with the cleaner/stripper next to see if it goes faster and a bit easier. Otherwise it is going to take forever to get my floors done.
