I first found this vest when looking for something our son could train in for rock climbing. I wanted a vest that fit close to the body with even weight distribution that wouldn't flop around on him while he climbs. This was it! Looking to build/maintain strength and bone density, I borrowed it all the time. He's quite a bit bigger than I am but it still worked well because I'm reasonably tall (about 5'8") and the weight and fit are both highly adjustable. When he went to college and took it with him, I bought one for myself. I wear it all the time, during workouts or just while walking or hiking. I'd worn more traditional style weighted vests at the gym before, but they don't come close to the comfort and adjustability of this one. It was pricey (even on prime day sale), but a good value for as much use as it gets. I love it.
Look no further!

I love this vest!!! The quality is amazing. It fits nice and snug so it doesn't bounce around. The weight is evenly distributed. It is so low profile you can wear it under a coat. It doesn't feel heavy. It feels more like a girdle! lol
Well made. Good tight fit.

I have had it for about 3 weeks. I try to wear it almost every day all day. Very happy so far. Seems well made. It came with 10lbs already in the little pockets. I bought the 20lb vest so I also received 2 boxes of weights each of which weighs 5lbs. Each 5lb box has 36 little weights in it.
The vest has 76 little pockets in total. There were 65 little pockets with weights in them when I received the vest. There were11 little pockets that had no weights in them, so, after a few days of getting used to the 10lbs I filled those 11 pockets from one of the 5lb boxes. That leaves me with 61 unused weights between the 2 boxes. Each little pocket can take 2 weights so I could add those 61 weights to 61 of the 76 little pockets.
I like it with one weight in each pocket. It may get a little bulky if each pocket had 2 weights in it but I am not sure as I haven't done it yet. I will start adding some second weights into the pockets in a few weeks.
I suggest that you get a larger size if you are between sizes. I am skinny (5'10" male weight 140lbs) and I bought a Large and I would not want anything smaller. You wear it tight around your body. With a sweater over it, it is not noticeable on me.
It seems very well made. But I could understand that with all that weight in the little pockets that it could put a strain on the fabric of the vest so I try to treat it gently. I prefer the lighter fabric that they used over a heavy fabric as the lighter fabric fits easier underneath a sweater. But the compromise may be that it will stress out the seams and fabric more quickly. Not sure on this. I can just say that I am very happy with the purchase and I gave it 5 stars.

Wear it all the time, fits snug and doesn't bounce. Stays in place. Small weights so you can gradually increase resistance. Virtually no chaffing. Had for 2 years, run in it about twice a week, no wear and tear
Fantastic weighted vest

This is by far the best vest you can pick if 20lbs max is all you are looking for.
I have a tactical weighted vest I can load to 40lbs which is great, but normally I stay within the 10-20 range. The problem with the tactical vest is when out in public, you get odd and sometimes concerned looks. Someone even asked me if it was a bullet proof vest.
I prefer the hyper vest because it doesn't get many looks and I've never had concerned looks, only curious.
I like the fit. It covers the whole upper body to the waist line, so the weight is very well distributed.
