I'd wanted a magnifying mirror for a while but never got around to getting one. Then the coronavirus quarantine hit, and after a couple weeks, I realized I needed to do something about my eyebrows. I didn't want to have to lean over the counter to get a close look in my regular mirror, so I knew the time had come to get a magnifying one. This one wasn't too expensive, and I liked the idea of the suction cup, so I went for it. So glad I did! It's a nice mirror except for 1 issue. The pivot that the mirror pivots on loses tension after about a month or two. This is my second mirror I've purchased they both had the same problem. I can't comment on the suction because I've never used that feature or the traveling aspect of the mirror because I don't travel with it but I believe it would be good for traveling (just my guess)

I wish I'd read the details better before buying this. That's my fault. Here's the issue I have-- It's a very small mirror that's magnified 10x so you must get quite close to it for it to become 'clear'. That said, the ring of light around the small mirror you must get face to face with is so blindingly bright I see spots for a while after moving away. If you're looking at one eye your other eye is right next to the light. A couple more inches would fix this but I understand it's supposed to be a travel mirror. I don't know...I kept it and I use it from time to time. I preferred it much more when the batteries began to die and the light dimmed some, but that was short-lived. I never have used the suction so I don't feel I can take stars away from something I haven't tried but based on the overall quality of everything else, I'm assuming it's fine. I'm on the look-out for a larger mirror, obviously. I think it will be a brick and mortar store purchase. All in all, it's not a bad little mirror.

I have been struggling to find a mirror for travel to apply makeup. Hotel rooms are noted for being not well lit and/or the mirror too far away to properly apply makeup. Also being of an older age one needs a bit of magnification in order to apply makeup so it looks nice. I have tried other mirrors which were too small in diameter, too heavy, or sat on the mirror to far away from my face. This mirror is wonderful! With the suction cups and extension I can put it on the mirror in a bathroom, or other smooth surface, and it extends toward me AND it stays put until I want to remove it (Easy to follow directions.). This mirror is big enough to use easily, but not to big to travel. The light that the mirror emits is perfect for those dimly lighted hotel rooms. This mirror would be perfect for at home use!! My wish it could be less bulky for travel, but that is it!
