The quality seems excellent. YES you do need 3 AAA batteries!! Come on folks, read the fine print!
If you've never used a 10x or 20x mirror, this blows up whatever you're looking at. It is distorted until you find your sweet spot. YES it is supposed to have an indentation in the middle.
It works! I'm excited to take this on an upcoming cruise. The ring light will really help in the bathroom and I can just pop it up on the mirror.
