While the figurines are sturdy and of great quality there is a missing figurine. The picture shows 5 and the description says 5 pieces I received a closed package but only 4 , pictured above. The seller reached out to me and fixed the error so I'm updating my rating. They were very prompt in their response , which was very much appreciated .

These are awesome! I work in a Montessori school, but I ordered these for my own children to use at home. I wasn't sure they would be "Montessori quality", but they are! They have a nice weight about them, and they are painted well with detail. You can even see that they used a shiny black paint for the eyes so they would stand out against the mate paint of the body. The best surprise was that the paw prints are not just painted on, but molded as well. You can make paw prints in mud, play dough, etc.!!!!!! Now I just need to order more sets for school.
