To those with the reviews of "so quiet you couldn't even hear it" - This is clearly NOT TRUE. While it doesn't sound like a cessna about to take off, it is a fair bit noisier than my other panasonic fans - which I can BARELY hear. I did use the supplied reducer to down size to fit my existing exhaust pipe - but my panasonic's also use the same size ductiing.
Now that its in - I'm living w it - its still better than what it replaced, and its the kid's bedroom. I will be splurging to get another panasonic for the master bath.
The instructions were not so clear - the bracket attaching to the duct hooks in UNDER the fan bracket. Hook it in, THEN slide the fan housing into the bracket.

It is a great product and I don't impress easily.

First I will preface this review by saying that I generally don't give 5 stars across the board for most products that I review. I feel if it is going to get 5 stars it has to wow me in that category. Well I had an old bathroom exhaust fan that was hardly pulling any air out. I took a tissue up to it and it would not even hold the tissue! So goodbye to the old one and hello Kaze SEP120H.
Install would have been quicker but I had to relocate the location of the Kaze SEP120H from the old location because the Kaze is a bigger size and a stud was in the way but I can't fault the product for that. After install the I tested the noise level and it is quieter than the previous one and not only is it quieter, but I took a tissue up to it and it stuck flat against the intake. We have noticed that the bathroom has less steam and the mirror doesn't quite fog up as much with the new Kaze unit. Overall I am completely satisfied with this purchase and I think you would be to.

This works really well. Way quieter than my old 4 sones bath fan.
Only issue is that it's a little readily. Not sure why. Not a huge issue though

Very quiet, well made, but make sure you have attic access

Needed to replace a 20+ year-old builder POC that was installed when the house was built. It was half the CFM that the bathroom required, so the Kaze 150 CFM was a much-needed upgrade.
Let's start with the good: This unit is super quiet - the only thing you'll hear is the sound of the air moving. Anyone who is indicating otherwise, I'd now be a bit suspicious of. The housing and components seem to be well made, the fan is a well-built squirrel cage, and I can confirm both the mounting wings and the 6" duct vent easily remove and reattach. The wiring house is easy to work with. The cardboard shipping box comes with a template you can use to trace onto your ceiling - to ensure you have the right sized opening in your drywall. The plastic vent cover is oversized compared with the fan box and easily covers any wallboard gaps. Once installed, this unit does it's job, and it does it well. I now experience at least 3/4 less the humidity I had prior.
Here's what you need to watch out for - what size is your house's bathroom exhaust ducting? Mine is 3" - so I had to buy a 6" to 3" duct reducer - not a huge deal. Do you have attic access? If you don't - forget about this unit - it's not intended to be installed from within the room below. You cannot attach the wings and the exhaust damper and expect to get the unit through the hole in your ceiling, without enlarging that hole beyond the size of the plastic vent cover. My unit didn't come with wire nuts - not a huge deal for me, but if you don't already have bag full of them in your toolbox, you'll want to order some - you'll need three.
There you have it. It's a good unit in my opinion. Good luck!

We just had thr bathroom redone and my overly sensitive wife wanted NO fan noise. I purchased it fir that reason. I am about 75% deaf. This thing makes just as much noise as my old small square 50cubic ft fan. However it is a monster when it extracts thr bathroom air.Tons of steam or a horrendous dump won't matter. This fan clears it al in a few minutes AT MOST. That is amazing. If only it lived up to it's low "sones" rating.
