It's sharp, it's super convenient, and fits all I need for a day teaching school. Don't think you're going to use this for a weekend getaway, but a laptop and charger, a couple of journals and books, and a stack of papers fit quite easily.
One small nit pick is that it squeaks a bit when I walk due to metal-on-metal rubbing where the strap is attached to the bag. I hope that as it wears in it will stop.

So, my daughter, (a high school senior) had a slightly larger, but all leather version of this shoulder bag, used throughout her junior year. She liked it, but as the year progressed, it became heavier than she liked, and asked if there was anything lighter weight but equally stylish to replace the leather one. I replaced it over the summer for THIS ONE. Slightly smaller, much lighter weight, and equally stylish as leather, with better water resistance to boot! The ONLY REASON I've failed to offer 5-stars, is simply due to a lack of full school year- to prove longevity! This bag was great. My husband used to travel. However, the zippers are definitely messing up and malfunctioning after reading reviews it appears many other people have said the same about this bag. Amazon advised me to contact the manufacturer initially to see if they can do anything about it. I will update later.
