TL:DR it's a mount that you can use to replace your various types of mounting arms; I used it to replace my iOttie one that was lost, works great with no issues!
I bought this mount as the one that came with my iOttie phone holder/charger went missing after I transferred cars.
This mount was a 1:1 fit for it! It fit right into the ball mount hole, the screw fit snuggly to keep it from dropping down whenever you go over bumps (the iOttie supplied one had these issues, so this one has been better). The only difference between this and the iOttie that I remember is that the iOttie didn't have a ratchet system, it used a little screw and you sliding the arm to where you want it which both methods work fine in my experience.
So far I've used it for a few months in the hot Texas heat and I'm happy to say it has survived so far with zero issues. The color hasn't faded and the plastic hasn't gotten brittle. I rest the bottom of the phone holder on the A/C vent to help support it and prevent the mount from bouncing around while driving. The overall stability once you have it mounted it top notch.

Installed the adhesive pad on my dashboard and waited a month before sticking the mount to it with my garmin 57 and not even a minute later did the sticky pad come off still stuck to the mount. Now I have to wait for other adhesive pads to come in the mail that are heat resistant. Maybe I'll just try mounting it under my rear view mirror instead.

I use this in place of the Garmin supplied original. It seems stronger and is more versatile than the original plus it allows my Garmin to sit not only directly under my rearview mirror, but it also telescopes enough to make attaching my Garmin and adjusting it much easier.
