The palm design distributes weight so much more evenly than a regular type cane handle . My mother being 96 finds her right hand no longer aches or hurts which is exactly what I was hoping. She simply loves that her hand is feeling so much better. Happy mom, happy son . She's Much more stable now that her grip is comfortable and the way her hand sits over the cane itself. I don't think anyone of age who uses a cane , that has experienced a palm grip would ever go back to the old cane handles.
