Great pencils! We've yet to sharpen and use them so we're not sure how they write but as a goody bag favor they are amazing. They keep changing colors when I handle them to put erasers on them and when I put them in the goody bags. Some colors change easier than others, the blue ones are slow to change and requires you to hold them a little longer before you see the color switch. The rest change colors with just a second's worth of touching! I can even breathe on them and they change color lol. Long story short I bought it a second time to give out to my son's class since everyone liked them.

I almost returned these when I opened them and tried them out"¦ nothing. Then I remembered how my hands are almost always freezing cold and figured I should let my kids try them out and sure enough, they were able to get them to change colors just as expected.

So I was a little bit worried because of the other reviews saying they do not change, I think these people are color blind, they change colors just find and pretty quickly the only downside I have to say is the color isn't a drastic difference but only slight, if its a #ffcc00 then it changes to #e5b700 (these are both yellow hex codes) so I think that is the only disappointment but it does change just fine. The graphite seems solid so far, not like the cheaper ones where they break every time you go to sharpen them and the erasers seem just okay nothing to special. I do wish they came in a cardboard box or some kind of recycled paper box instead of the plastic bag but that is my only complaint.

I was surprised to see that all of the erasers are actually black when in all of the pictures and description it says and shows that they match the color of the pencil. It isn't a game changer for me bc the colors do change ok the actual pencil itself and that's really all I was banking on. Still super cool minus that one discrepancy!
