This chair transfer lift is multipurpose. It simplified transferring my immobile father-in-law from one chair to the other. Also, it has safety belts to secure the patient to ensure they don't slip out. It fits perfectly in a standard wheel chair so there is no need to remove it from under the patient making the next transfer even more simple. It is very sturdy and well made.
