About year after my purchase I ran into some issues. I contacted the customer support via email. The response time was very quick and Amy was extremely helpful through the whole process of getting my system back up and running properly. Thank you Amy!
Satisfied with technical support of zosi

Zosi security system, easy setup, did it myself. Worked fine for almost like a year and then problem came in NVR. The system got disconnected for like 2-3 months. During that time, i was contacting zosi customer services for help. The members were trying to solve the issues from message and video clips. But this did not work and finally found the issues of NVR. It didn't work because it wasn't updated. Finally, the support members suggested to replace NVR, and they helped to replace NVR. After replacing updated NVR, it started working again.
I m happy for support they provide even it is long time after purchase..
I m very much grateful for the help of customer support team-especially from Jar, Amy, Ernest and others too.
Hopefully will get help again if needed in the future too.. Thank you again "Jar" for your continuous help.

I bought the 4 camera version about 5 months ago. I wish now, I had went with the 8 camera version. And as you will read, their customer support is top notch which is one of the reasons I am now reviewing the unit... one of the camera I thought had failed but as their support was able to help with, in fact it did not and they easily helped get it back working again. I explain more a bit down this review.
*NOTE for those wondering if you can hook the NVR wireless to your router, the answer is a yes and no. I had to place the NVR on the other end of the house from the router but did not want to run wiring... so I found a way to do it using wireless extenders which I will explain at the bottom of this review.
Regardless, the quality of the camera's is outstanding especially at night. I have attached a video link of the camera catching a bear at dusk coming toward the house as the cameras switched into night vision mode.
The reason I am writing the review now after 5 months however, is due to the customer support I got. One of the camera's suddenly failed... or so I thought. In reality, it turned out that I had to simply reset the addressing hardware ID code for that camera. It failed during a storm and my thought is a lightning strike may have just scrambled the brains a bit. BUT it was not until I contacted the company about a replacement camera that I learned the camera was probably fine.. They instructed me how to reset it and sure enough, it is back working perfectly. They were fast, courteous and knowledgeable. So I will definitely recommend this company and brand for those looking for a system.
Finally, hooking this to your router. Sadly, the NVR does not allow you to directly do a wifi connection to your router. While the cameras all connect wireless to the NVR, the NVR itself has to be wired somehow to the router. In my case however, that would have meant running line the entire length of my house. Not something I wanted to do.
So I thought about it a bit and then came up with a simple solution.. I bought one of those 'wireless extenders' you can simply plug into an outlet to extend wireless around your home. What many don't realize, is those extenders have BUILT IN network plugs! So while they are used to actually extend your wireless range, they can ALSO be used to plug in a WIRED DEVICE to give IT access to your router!
So all I did was buy one of those, setup the extender to extend my wifi in my home, run a network cable from the NVR to the plug in the wifi extender and walla, my NVR is now connected to the router wirelessly because it is directly plugged into the extender via network cable.
And it works perfectly.. In fact, I wanted to place one of my camera quite a distance from the house... but wireless range, especially for a video signal, is not very far. So what did I do? I bought a SECOND wireless extender, plugged that one into my workshop and then plugged camera 4 into the wireless extender via network cable and it now can be monitored through that connected wireless extender as well! Wireless extenders have a lot more power and range than the camera on its own. Probably double from my testing so this solution allowed me to place a camera where normally I would not be able to reach wirelessly on its own.
As I started this review with, my only regret with this purchase... I should have bought the 8 camera version.. I really need it now as we moved into a larger home and a lot of land.. Wish the company would trade me up to the 8 camera from this 4 camera! ;-)

Update:
A monitor with a vga port, and direct connection to my modem, was required for me to set up. Unfortunately the hdmi option never functioned and I did not own anything to utilize the vga chord. After purchasing a small monitor I was able to get the cameras setup, and access them on my phone. The quality is ok, but I'd recommend better cameras (I believe this company has better options). These also do not have any sound which is fine, but not preferred. The company did reach out to me for assistance rather quickly so they get an extra star for the customer service.
Can't use. Thr QR codes are absent from the cameras and the network required to connect doesnt come up. Cant connect anything and cant use. Complete waste of money.

I've had this system installed 4 months now. Overall, the quality and performance of this system is what one should expect for the price. This is not a high-end system that lets you zoom in and read a license plate 50' away. Go buy a system that costs 5 times as much if that is what you want. The video is HD but also compressed. It looks good for general surveillance of your property. Buy something more robust if you need to do more than that. For what it costs, this system is pretty good. Sure, the cable is thin, but so what? It is acceptable for 100' runs, easy to work with, light weight, and didn't break while installing it, so it's fine for the job. The dome cameras are plastic, however the bullet cameras are metal. Both work fine but I would probably buy the all bullet system over this one had I known the dome cameras were plastic. The DVR has worked flawlessly so far. The phone app is acceptable, but not the most user friendly. It can be a bit slow to load sometimes but once the connection is going, switching between cameras is pretty fast. The motion detection is pretty useless for notifications of anything important because it is too sensitive and the sensitivity adjustment barely makes a difference. Unfortunately, it does not have person detection capability. So, I keep notifications turned off as I don't care to be notified when a bird flies by.
I had one camera stop working after 3 months"¦ it just went dead. I contacted customer service and received a response from Aimee the same day. After sending some photos showing the camera was dead and explaining the troubleshooting I had tried, Aimee authorized a return of the camera and sent a shipping label. Within a week they had receive the camera, verified it didn't work, and sent out a replacement, which arrive a couple of days later. I did not have to pay for anything. Aimee kept me informed throughout the whole process and was a pleasure to work with. ZOSI's customer support is top notch.
If more cameras die I may have to change my rating but for now I'm quite satisfied.
