I'm a Midwest Girl with no thigh gap and shapely curves. I love wearing dresses in the summer. Normally I wear cotton bike shorts but I wanted something a little lighter because of the heat and humidity. I purchased these before going to Florida in July. Not only is the eyelash lace that peeps out, every once in awhile kind of sultry but they are not constricting at all. Like, you don't feel like your head's going to pop off when on. Nor do you need 30 mins to pull them up; whilst sweating profusely. 😃. These go on smooth with little fuss. Also, they are not so constricting that a marshmallow levy muffin top forms and swells like other shape wear. 😃. And that makes me happy. Oh and the hems don't rise up like the lace is chasing your bum. These stay put, for the most part. In extreme humid, adjustments are always necessary.

I am 5'4 and 145lbs with curves - I bought my normal underwear size (L) and they fit my curves well. The length the lace legs add did not ride up. They were nice and light, and sexier than other shorts - and still comfortable at first wear. We decided to go for a quick walk rather than Uber to a theater after dinner this week, and the walk ended up be 2 miles at a very fast pace for me -- I was comfy and chafe-free when we arrived (note I did pair these with anti-chafe powder gel)! I purchased the Joyshaper Underwear because I wanted a seamless underwear.
Likes:
The material is soft, smooth, stretchy and provides a comfortable fit.
The underwear is mid-length with inseams at about 5 1/4 inches which is long enough to prevent my thighs from rubbing.
The leg band is about 1 cm or little over 1/4 inch wide which is very narrow but it is tight enough to prevent it from rolling up.
The waist band is about 1 inch wide, comfortable and prevents it from rolling down.
It was seamless because I did not see any panty lines when I wore it under my clothes.
Dislikes:
It has a high waist but I prefer mid-rise. However, this is a personal preference.
Thus far, I am happy with my purchase and I would buy again.

Definitely go up a size, especially if you've got a bit of junk in your trunk like i do.
Unsure if a large would fit well or be too big, so i might keep the medium.
The lace stretches, which is good.
It does not ride up on me.
The shorts roll at the top a little, but i'm just glad that they don't ride up on me because that's the issue i normally run into.
They are not opaque, so i wouldn't wear them as regular shorts, but they will be good to wear under dresses and skirts for a little added protection.
They're not strong compression, but they do smooth out my thighs and butt a little bit.
