When my laptop failed, I needed a good camera for online meetings. It was rated highly by customers, and the price was good, so if it just got me through my meeting, I would be happy with the outcome. Instead, this camera performed like a champ. True plug and play as others have mentioned, but the quality surprised me. The camera offers excellent definition and produces a smooth steady connection to allow for day long ZOOM meetings without freezing up or acting jumbly. Overall, this was one of the best $30 buys. I've only had the camera for a week, but so far, it does what was advertised. Also, the supplier shipped quickly, and the product arrived well packed and on time.

First of all, I do a LOT of video calls. Several a day, at various times and places during the day. This makes it challenging for a webcam, that has to look good and sound good every time.
I have several webcams that I use, some are backups, and some are collecting dust because they weren;t very good.
I have some webcams that cost as much as $200.
This $30 webcam is really a GREAT value for the money - this is NOT to say that it "arely works" for $30. I would compare it with some $200 webcams easily.
First, it is low cost.
Second, it does everything as advertised. Sound from the microphone is great, clear, crisp and loud - one of the worst complaints is microphones that are not sensitive enough.
Image is great. Even low light conditions work well.
Super easy to connect. Pop it into USB and it works right away.
I even get compliments on how well my sound comes across and my video too.
I highly recommend you get one (or two as a backup)...

Not the image quality I expected

I bought this camera to replace a Spedal wide-angle camera I had gotten back during the pandemic to allow views of the entire conference room. Since I retired, I wanted a more narrow view to make on-line conferencing more personable. The image quality is pretty grainy and Microsoft Teams doesn't seem to have any control over the zoom and color adjustments of the camera. The good news is, it wasn't horribly expensive.
Update as of July 8, 2023. I have exchanged several messaged with the seller.. I downloaded the latest software and updated everything and still had poor image quality. They have agreed to provide a replacement. I would say that the customer service has been very good and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
I'll provide a final update once the new camera is installed.
Final update as of 7/16/23. Have received the replacement camera and the image quality is very much better. None of the "grainy" video of the first camera, so I assume I must have just gotten a bad one the first time. The vendor responded quickly and shipped out a replacement camera at no charge. I seem to get the best video from adjusting the settings with the Windows Camera app and then letting Microsoft Teams just use the defaults. I would have no problem buying this camera again.

I tutor students and sometimes we can't meet in person. So, Zoom. Just rebuilt my computer with all new components (only case, power and a couple of fans remain). Time for new camera. This one got good reviews. According to students images are quite sharp, sound through microphone is clear, and the sound from its speakers on my end is crisp. I particularly like the lens cover. Drivers installed easily on Windows 11/64 bit. So 5 stars - it does what it should at reasonable price. If i had to add one item to it, i wish the cabling was another foot or two longer. For most folks, length will be fine.
