I have very fine curly long blonde hair and every time I go outside it curls in a variety of ways and becomes extremely frizzy even though I have flat ironed it. Enter Tymo, the hair straightening comb!
I blow dried my hair after which I combed it with my Tymo and was shocked to see my hair was super straight and I didn't have to "comb" my hair several times. I wear my hair with bangs and for the first time ever, my bangs were actually straight and not wavy. Interestingly, after using Tymo, I worked in my garden and even though my head was wet due to the humidity, my hair and bangs continued to stay straight. 4 out of 5. This does the job of straightening hair fast, but doesn't quite get to the roots. If you want smooth, silky edges, this is not the device you want. I do enjoy not burning my scalp and ears though.

I was sooo excited to get this Tymo straightener. It came in this nicely packaged box with some goodies but it just didn't work for me. I always have to set my straighteners to the highest setting 400degree+ and this one goes up to 410. Well, it did nothing. My hair has been relaxed but in need of a touch up..nope. This Tymo told me "not TODAY" so unfortunately, I have to return it! I still have it 3 stars because the heat that comes from the straightener is nuts! I mean, it smokes but the directions say it may do that the 1st time which is fine. Growing up, my hair was straightened with a hot comb, straight off the stove. Glad it's working for others though :-)

Update 7/17/23. Changed my 3 stars to 4. Seller contacted me immediately after I started the return. So...great communication.

I will be posting a picture or video with this soon, but I had to just get this out there. This came yesterday and silly old me was like debating whether or not just to return it without even trying it because I was thinking I'm never gonna use this just like my flat iron cause it's too much work. I left it in the box overnight and I took it out just now and I have to give you my backstory to understand my reasoning for saying this.

My hair is insanely SUPER thick to the point where I have to thin it three times minimum a year to feel comfortable. I literally cannot even wear my hair up in a high or low ponytail or a bun without getting a headache DAILY because of the weight of my hair. I could never even style my hair, because, for curls it would just fall instantly or it would take so freaking long"¦ I'm talking HOURSS. I used to hate prom & homecoming cause of this. Straightening my hair, I have a flatiron straightener that I've used only a couple times.. I can count on one hand in the last 10 years. I literally never use it because straightening my hair takes me two hours minimum and even then I'm not happy with it because I can never get all of my hair, because it's so thick. I have literally always been super envious and jealous of girls in my high school to now who have pin straight, thin, flat laying hair. I find it odd that everyone wants the super thick hair and all right fine you want it thicker but you DONT want super thick like I have because I cannot do anything with it. Even washing it is a struggle to wash it deep clean and good because it's so thick and I have hairdressers telling me I'm not washing it right. Well, I can't freaking do it good enough and I have to waste money on extra shampoo and conditioner because there's so much. So back to the straightening"” I don't know where I saw this, maybe just scrolling Amazon and I was VERY skeptical. I don't always listen to reviews good or bad I want my own experience on it. I was very skeptical that it would actually work FOR ME & I'd actually want to use it all the time & get my moneys worth from it. I literally just now tried it and what usually takes me 2+ hours (& still not happy) I literally did in five minutes TOPS and it's pin straight flat not super puffy or wavy like usual! I am beyond amazed, where have you been all my life lol! I finally don't need to be jealous and envious of other girls who can do this hairstyle! I use the straightener brush just normally like I'm brushing either over my hair or from underneath. either way is SUPER quick & can take ALOT of hair at once in the brush and still get it all straight!!! Wtffffff lol! I did have it on high setting, heats up very fast. I am also beyond surprised and excited of the tools.. I guess I didn't notice all the stuff it comes with it"¦ the glove definitely helps not to burn your hand, the brush, the box is definitely sturdy & good for storage or travel, AND it comes with a travel or storage velvet silk bag if you don't want to keep the box! AND TWO huge hair clips which i can use for this or double using for getting my hair out of my face for applying makeup! WORTH EVERYYYYYYYYYYYY dollar! If you have thick hair & know how it is to straighten it"¦ do yourself a favor & get this!! Cuts time by 95% or more for us thick heads!!!

First and foremost, I am not a hairdresser. The texture of my hair is curly. In order to get my hair straight, I have to blow dry it and use heat protector so that my hair won't get heat damage. The hair straightener brush doesn't get my hair bone straight but like the hairdresser but it gets the job done. You still need to use the blow dryer, the hair straightener brush and a flat iron. Next time I go to the hairdresser I'll have her use it and see if I get a better result.
